About Us

sim4tec is a provider of scientific software in the field of organic electronics. The end users are research labs, universities or industrial customers. We aim to make complex scientific problems easily accessible to the customer by means of an intuitive and easy-to-handle user interface. Using our software, the customer gets detailed insight into the physics of the problem and may additionally benefit by reducing costs and saving time.

Our main activity is the marketing and development of SimOLED, a comprehensive simulation software for electrical simulation of OLEDs. We offer products from other fields like optical simulation or molecular modeling, see Products section.

In addition to software development and marketing, training and consulting belongs to our core competences. Upon request, we organize workshops and training seminars on our software products. For customers who do not have the time or resources to treat complicated problems related to our products, we offer to provide a detailed analysis. Especially in the fields of thin film optics and OLEDs we have a strong scientific background. Determination of optical constants from experimental data as well as complete electrical modeling of complex OLED structures are just a few examples of what we can deliver. sim4tec was officially founded in January 2007 and is a spin-off from the Institute of Applied Photophysics, University of Technology Dresden and CreaPhys GmbH.
