At the 6th edition of the Plastic Electronics Conference and Exhibition, sim4tec will provide an interactive workshop with hands-on exercises on simulations of OLEDs and organic devices in general. Participants will learn how to set up and calculate the electrical and optical characteristics of organic devices using sim4tec’s software SimOLED®. A range of example calculations will be performed, starting from simple single layer devices up to complex multi-layer OLEDs with doped transport and emitter layers. Comparisons of simulation and experiment of selected examples are presented to connect the simulation approach to practical applications. Participants are encouraged to bring their own simulation problems.
The workshop is free of charge for attendees of the Plastic Electronics Conference and Exhibition. So use this chance to combine excellent networking at the leading conference in this field with our workshop to get the most out of the converging electronics week in Dresden this fall!

Closing remarks
All participants are invited for a complementary diner starting at 7pm, location to be announced.
In order to follow the hands-on exercises, it is recommended that all participants bring their own laptops. Shortly before the workshop, a link will be sent out to all registered participants in order to download and install the current version of SimOLED® on the laptop. Hardware dongles are provided for the duration of the workshop to be able to run SimOLED®.
